The holiday season has wound down but there is still much to enjoy and celebrate. On Saturday, January 20th you are invited to Pickens High School for the annual Winter Bluegrass Jubliee!
Doors open at 10am and the day lasts until 8pm. The cost of a ticket is $12 in advance or $15 at the door but this one ticket gives you access to not just the many wonderful Bluegrass groups but also food vendors, a silent auction, several Appalachian workshop, the artisan fair and more! Not only will you have the fun of enjoying and exploring all of these things but you will have the joy of supporting the Young Appalachian Musicians (YAM) program.
The YAM program is an after school arts and music program that is dedicated to instructing children and youth traditional music and to help the growth of Appalachian tradition.
